So... creating a website dedicated to myself seems really self-indulgent, but rule #1 I’ve learned in business is “if you can’t promote yourself, no one else will do it for you,” so bear with me. Anyway, if I interest you (and not in a creepy, stalker way), then please check out the website. If you don’t care, then just navigate away.

This is me, in a nutshell:

I am the mother of two amazing daughters. (Yes, all mothers think their kids are amazing, but, really, mine are.)

I am the Owner & Head Confectioner of Tribeca Treats, a specialty bakery in downtown Manhattan. Go there.

I am the author of Sweet Chic: Stylish Treats to Dress Up for Any Occasion. Buy it. Some of the recipes appear on this website, but you should still buy it.

Before pursuing my dream of becoming a professional baker, I had a 7-year career as an investment banker.

Besides baking, I love to cook and entertain. I also love dining out and good wine.

I have travelled extensively in every continent except Antarctica.

I LOVE football (real life and fantasy) and am an avid Washington Redskins fan. Don’t think less of me for that. I also love basketball.

I watch a lot of tv.

My blog mostly focuses on variations of the above topics. Please keep in mind, I don’t consider myself an expert on any of them. I just like to share my stories and opinions about things I love, things I don’t love, and mistakes I’ve made along the way. (http://rachelthebault.com/)
