I have been a sugarcraft tutor and demonstrator since 1987, becoming an accredited demonstrator for The British Sugarcraft Guild in 1995. I teach all aspects of sugarcraft from beginners to advanced and to other sugarcraft tutors around the British Isles. Predominantly teaching from a studio in my own home, I also travel all over Britain providing demonstrations and workshops for other Guild members and sugarcraft clubs.
I have made sugarcraft props for the films ‘Notting Hill’, ‘Chocolat’ and three of the ‘Harry Potter’ films. In July 2001, I appeared live on Cable and Satellite television on channel ‘Where-its-at’ to decorate a cake. In 2002, my techniques were featured in a short programme for Nippon TV in Japan, in Dec 04, I appeared on the CBBC channel performing a live demonstration for Sugarpaste modelling. In 2007, I have been involved in a series of Skoda car ads which have been televised throughout the year and in 2008, a campaign of Skoda magazine adverts.
