Hey, I’m Melisser, welcome to The Urban Housewife!

This is a place where I like to share my culinary adventures from vegan dining around the world to the sweets baked in my own kitchen. When I’m not behind the keyboard or on the road, I’m running my San Francisco based vegan bakery, Sugar Beat Sweets. I also participate in animal activism & vegan outreach, & spend time with my husband Ryan, & rescued friends Strummer, Beamish, & Scurvy.
